The Senior Information Systems Auditor plays a crucial role in assessing the effectiveness and adequacy of internal controls within information systems.

Working with minimal oversight, this role utilizes industry standards and regulatory guidelines to evaluate information systems, platforms, and IT operational practices.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

1. Manage the execution of audits and projects, ensuring adherence to budgets, timelines, and quality standards.

2. Supervise daily operations, including task assignment and review, while providing guidance to ensure high-quality outcomes.

3. Formulate audit findings and provide recommendations related to internal controls of information systems.

4. Identify, evaluate, and articulate IT risks and control strengths and weaknesses to audit teams and client representatives.

5. Maintain comprehensive IT audit documentation, including manuals, policies, reports, and other relevant materials to gather necessary information.


6. Analyze test exceptions to identify root causes and draft audit issues concerning IT infrastructure, data processes, and operational procedures.

Demonstrate analytical thinking by collecting, evaluating, questioning, and sharing insights on assigned tasks.

Deliver concise and timely written and verbal communications to colleagues, supervisors, and clients regarding assigned topics.

This position offers a Hybrid work model, requiring a minimum of four days per week onsite with one flexible remote workday.

Preferred Qualifications:
University Degree - ideally in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, or Finance.

Familiarity with widely used server, platform, database, and endpoint technologies (e.g., Windows Server, Unix/Linux, SQL Server, Oracle DB, VMWare), along with an understanding of cybersecurity principles.

Knowledge of IT Governance and IT Risk Management concepts.

Thorough understanding of auditing standards, technology/security regulations, IT general controls, and application controls.

Experience in managing audit projects is highly preferred.

CISA certification is preferred.
