Position SummaryWe are looking for a Patient Services Manager to oversee our Patient Services Team within an Acute Care environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Set objectives and manage the execution of patient food service requirements based on medical guidance and patient demographics.
- Recruit, lead, mentor, and train members of the patient service team.
- Adhere to dietary guidelines for special or modified diets to ensure that food preferences align with dietary restrictions.
- Ensure that patient services personnel contribute to achieving established patient satisfaction targets.
- Comply with all regulatory standards, including those from federal, state, and accrediting bodies, while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
- Engage in and lead initiatives focused on patient satisfaction, departmental meetings, and overall Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement efforts.
- Associate degree with at least one (1) year of experience in food services or a related field, or a bachelor's degree in food service management or a related discipline.
- Preferred certifications include Certified Dietary Manager, Registered Diet Technician, or Registered Dietitian.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in food service management, ideally in an acute care context.
- ServSafe certification is desirable.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, electronic medical records, and dietary management systems.
