Position Overview:
We are in search of a Patient Services Manager to oversee our Patient Services Team within an Acute Care environment.


Primary Responsibilities:
1. Set objectives and supervise the execution of patient food service requirements based on medical guidance and patient demographics.
2. Recruit, manage, mentor, train, and nurture patient service team members.
3. Adhere to dietary guidelines for special or modified diets to ensure that food preferences align with dietary order restrictions.
4. Ensure that patient services personnel contribute to achieving established patient satisfaction targets.
5. Comply with regulatory standards, including federal, state, and accreditation bodies, while upholding facility confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, and patient rights policies.
6. Engage in and lead patient satisfaction initiatives, departmental meetings, and organization-wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs.

Qualifications:
- Associate degree with a minimum of one (1) year of experience in food services or a related field, or a bachelor's degree in food service technology/management or a related discipline.
- Certification as a Dietary Manager, Registered Diet Technician, or Registered Dietitian is preferred.
- At least one (1) year of experience in food service management, ideally in an acute care setting.
- ServSafe certification is desirable.
- Proficient in utilizing Microsoft Office applications, electronic medical records, and dietary office systems.
