This role will operate in a hybrid capacity, and the compensation for this temporary Financial Operations Manager position is projected to be between $50-55/hour.


Key Responsibilities of the Financial Operations Manager:
- Develop and manage accounting policies, procedures, and staff.

- Execute all accounting functions, including transaction recording, journal entry preparation, account reconciliations, month-end closing processes, and financial statement generation.

- Establish and maintain capitalization policies, record fixed asset transactions, and collaborate with external CPA firms regarding depreciation records.

- Ensure accurate and consistent general ledger coding.
- Assist in the annual budgeting process and contribute to monthly forecasting efforts.
- Undertake special projects and additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications for the Financial Operations Manager:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline; a master's degree is advantageous.
- CPA certification is preferred.
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity.
- Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP, financial regulations, and reporting; tax knowledge is a plus.
- Proven track record in process improvement with successful implementation of changes.
- Exceptional leadership, organizational, and multitasking capabilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet stringent deadlines.
