Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Cobb and Douglas Public Health. As a Public Health Nurse, you will play a critical role in promoting and protecting the health and safety of the residents of Cobb and Douglas Counties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional nursing care in accordance with nurse protocols, policies, and procedures.
  • Focus on the prevention of illness, injury, or disability, and the promotion of health and maintenance of the health of populations.
  • Assist with conducting comprehensive assessments of clients' healthcare needs.
  • Identify high-risk populations and tailor interventions based on the needs of the population and the resources available.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university.
  • Completion of a PHN course within one year.
  • Current Georgia Registered Professional Nurse license.
  • CPR certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university.
  • One year of PHN experience.
  • Ability to speak Spanish.
