Position Summary
We are currently seeking a full-time Millwright / Pipe Foreman to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise staff in the layout, fabrication, alignment, joining, installation, repair, and welding of materials.
  • Utilize basic mathematical skills to address work-related tasks.
  • Act as a liaison among customers, vendors, project managers, and team members regarding ongoing and upcoming projects.
  • Assist team members in their duties and inspect the quality of all work performed.
  • Identify and resolve work-related challenges.
  • Verify the accuracy of materials received at the job site and ensure equipment is in proper working order.
  • Monitor time and production; communicate necessary adjustments to work schedules or crew requirements to meet project deadlines.
  • Install, repair, and maintain machinery and equipment according to construction plans, blueprints, and other specifications in industrial settings, using various tools and equipment.
  • Assemble and install machinery components, including shafting, conveyors, gearboxes, and pumps.
  • Align machinery and equipment using various tools and instruments.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Preferred certifications include NCCER or AWS, or completion of a related program from an accredited technical institution.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

  • Ability to perform physical activities such as climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, twisting, and bending for extended periods.
  • Capable of using arms and hands to reach for, handle, or manipulate objects.
  • Must be able to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds; occasionally lift heavier items with assistance.
  • Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments, including during inclement weather.
  • Comfortable climbing overhead structures and working in confined spaces for analysis and repair tasks.
  • Strong safety awareness and ability to recognize and respond to hazardous situations.
  • Ability to climb ladders and access various types of equipment.
