Overview:

Savannah River Mission Completion, LLC (SRMC) is in search of a Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance Manager for Tank Farms to join our team.

This role is responsible for overseeing maintenance operations and personnel within the Tank Farms Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) and Mechanical Maintenance division, prioritizing safety and operational excellence while minimizing equipment downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster a culture of nuclear safety, encouraging all team members to voice safety concerns and issues.
  • Set and track objectives, schedules, and actions for maintenance tasks, including corrective, preventive, and troubleshooting activities. Provide guidance and resolve technical issues as they arise.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, site procedures, and regulatory requirements to maintain safe and efficient operations.
  • Ensure team members are well-informed about procedures and provide leadership to guarantee safe and effective work performance. Offer ongoing training on regulatory and operational changes.
  • Review and approve maintenance procedures, work packages, and testing plans.
  • Conduct regular inspections of work areas to assess conditions and uphold performance standards.
  • Manage maintenance backlogs to align with company priorities.
  • Collaborate with facility personnel and management to ensure tasks are completed while maintaining high safety standards.
  • Participate in maintenance planning and budgeting to ensure adequate resource allocation and adherence to budgetary constraints.
  • Analyze recurring maintenance issues and develop solutions to enhance operational reliability.
  • Evaluate and recommend changes to departmental policies and procedures.
  • Identify training needs and assess the effectiveness of training programs through field activity monitoring.
  • Perform administrative duties, including the development and mentoring of team members.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with relevant experience in maintenance, engineering, operations, or work planning; or
  • Associate's degree with relevant experience in maintenance, engineering, operations, or work planning; or
  • High School Diploma or GED with relevant experience in maintenance, engineering, operations, or work planning.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership experience.
