As part of the MCU/MPU Engineering division at NXP, a pivotal design organization, we focus on creating innovative products across various sectors including Automotive, Internet of Things (IoT), Networking, and Radio Frequency solutions. Our expertise encompasses hardware engineering, architecture, intellectual property, and comprehensive SoC design.

Position Overview:

  • Lead the rapid development of complex SoC programs, ensuring adherence to schedule and budgetary KPIs from architectural inception through to post-silicon validation.
  • Exhibit strong acumen in SoC design, adeptly synthesizing multifaceted project risks, proactively identifying mitigation strategies, and implementing timely solutions.
  • Monitor and evaluate project success metrics, delivering timely reports. Act as a dynamic leader committed to continuous improvement in new product introduction (NPI) execution efficiency and operational methodologies.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and a commitment to Total Quality and first-time-right execution among the global cross-functional SoC core team and stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external partners to address software and hardware interdependencies related to SoC design.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
  • A minimum of 15 years of proven success in Program Management, particularly in leading complex SoC design projects.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in intricate SoC projects, covering areas such as SoC architecture, IP, RTL through to physical implementation, and verification/validation.
  • Prior experience in programming and automation (Python, HTML, C/C++) is essential, along with a strong desire to innovate and enhance business processes for greater efficiency.
  • Familiarity with MS Project and/or SciForma or other Product and Portfolio Management tools is required.
  • Possess strong analytical skills and excel in program management and operational excellence.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of articulating ideas clearly and effectively to audiences ranging from core teams to executive leadership.
  • A talent for motivating and influencing others, maintaining high energy and a positive attitude to navigate project challenges.
  • A relentless focus on achieving execution goals and objectives, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Experience in a highly matrixed organization is advantageous.
  • PMI/PMP certification is highly preferred.
