Join Our Innovative Team as a SoC Emulation Specialist

As a vital member of our Silicon Technologies division, you will contribute to the design and production of our next-generation, high-performance, and power-efficient processors and system-on-chip (SoC) solutions.

Your role will be crucial in ensuring that Apple products and services can efficiently manage the tasks that endear them to millions of users. By joining this team, you will be responsible for creating and building the technology that powers Apple's devices. Together with your colleagues, you will enable our customers to enjoy their devices to the fullest.

What You Will Do:

  • Engage in SoC bring-up on emulation, diagnosing and resolving issues related to SoC/Processor tests and emulator environments.
  • Support various emulation environments utilizing cutting-edge techniques, including:
    • C/C++ DPI Transactors
    • System Verilog assertions
    • Coverage analysis
    • Power estimation
    • SpeedBridges
    • Accelerated UVM Testbenches
  • Collaborate closely with Design, DV, Power, Silicon Validation, Performance, and Software teams, demonstrating strong design, debugging, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Work alongside leading emulation vendors to enhance capabilities and troubleshoot issues.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience with emulation on various platforms (Palladium, Protium, Veloce, or Zebu, EP), including design bring-up, build flow, debugging, performance, and throughput optimization.
  • Proficiency in Verilog and VHDL design.
  • Familiarity with C/C++, DPI, and System Verilog.
  • Experience in scripting with languages such as Perl, Python, or Makefile.
  • Proficient in using waveform debugging tools like Verdi/SimVision.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with UVM verification environments.
  • Knowledge of communication/interface protocols such as PCIe, USB, DDR, and SPI.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Education & Experience:

A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience is required.
