Key Responsibilities:
This dynamic position provides the chance to collaborate on cutting-edge technology in a team-oriented environment to:
- Contribute to the establishment of system architectures for Infrastructure markets, spanning from edge computing to hyperscale systems utilizing Arm technology.
- Develop and maintain architecture specifications that outline system topologies, integrating Arm compute, security protocols, boot strategies, I/O interfacing requirements, and other architecture-related elements.
- Direct and synchronize development efforts across various design teams, including overseeing the creation of functional and performance models, reviewing microarchitectural specifications, and supporting software development (firmware, middleware, operating systems).
- Establish performance metrics and objectives, collaborating with the performance analysis team to enhance results, including anticipated latency and bandwidth targets, Quality of Service (QoS), device I/O, and next-generation memory technologies.
- Collaborate with hardware and software engineering teams to clarify power expectations across diverse workloads.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering.
- A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in Electrical/Computer Engineering, with a proven ability to identify and translate server requirements into system solutions and SoC designs.
- Extensive knowledge of Infrastructure system architecture requirements, including server-class power management techniques, high-speed I/O interfaces such as PCIe and SATA, security measures, and external SoC system monitoring and remote device management.
- In-depth understanding of memory and I/O systems, along with systems-level performance modeling and analysis.
- Familiarity with general-purpose CPU microarchitecture, encompassing areas like processor pipelines, caches, and memory hierarchy.
- A strong desire to continuously enhance skills and embrace a variety of responsibilities to contribute to Arm's success.
- Demonstrated ability to produce consistent, complete, and concise written specifications, along with excellent communication skills (written, verbal, presentation).
