Key Responsibilities:

This dynamic position provides the chance to work with cutting-edge technology in a collaborative setting to:

  • Contribute to the formulation of system architectures for Infrastructure markets, spanning from edge devices to hyperscale systems utilizing Arm technology.
  • Develop and manage architecture specifications that delineate system topologies incorporating Arm compute, security protocols, boot strategies, I/O interfacing needs, and other system architecture aspects.
  • Direct and synchronize development efforts across various design teams, which includes guiding the creation of functional and performance models, reviewing microarchitectural specifications and test plans, and assisting in the development of software (firmware, middleware, operating systems).
  • Establish performance metrics and objectives, collaborating with the performance analysis team to refine outcomes, including anticipated latency and bandwidth targets, Quality of Service (QoS), device I/O, and next-generation memory technologies.
  • Collaborate with hardware and software engineering teams to clarify power expectations across diverse workloads.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering.
  • A minimum of 7 years of industry experience in Electrical/Computer Engineering, with a proven ability to identify and translate server requirements into system solutions and SoC designs.
  • Extensive knowledge of Infrastructure system architecture requirements, including server-class power management techniques, high-speed I/O interfaces such as PCIe and SATA, security measures, and external SoC system monitoring and remote device management.
  • In-depth understanding of memory and I/O systems, as well as systems-level performance modeling and analysis.
  • Familiarity with general-purpose CPU microarchitecture, including insights into processor pipelines, caches, and memory hierarchy.
  • A commitment to continuous skill development and a willingness to embrace diverse responsibilities contributing to Arm's success.
Preferred Skills:
  • Demonstrated ability to produce consistent, comprehensive, and clear written specifications, along with excellent communication skills (written, verbal, presentation).
