Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer - Instrumentation and Automation to join our team at Hire Military Talent. As an Electrical Engineer - Instrumentation and Automation, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise in the design, implementation, and maintenance of electrical and instrumentation systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement electrical and instrumentation systems to improve plant efficiency and reduce maintenance costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement new technologies and strategies to increase productivity and reduce energy consumption.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to maintenance technicians and production staff on electrical and instrumentation systems.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date design drawings and specifications for electrical and instrumentation systems.
  • Participate in HAZOP studies and provide technical expertise to ensure safe and efficient operation of electrical and instrumentation systems.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of contractors and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of projects.
  • Travel to various locations as required to support project implementation and maintenance activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in electrical and instrumentation engineering, preferably in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems, including medium and high voltage distribution systems.
  • Experience with NFPA 70E work practices and ARC Flash methodology.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
