Job Summary

The Materials Management Supervisor plays a critical role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring that all materials are received, stored, and distributed efficiently and effectively. This position requires strong leadership and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
  • Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity in the warehouse.
  • Collaborate with the inventory control team to ensure accurate and up-to-date inventory records.
  • Work closely with the shipping and receiving team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials.
  • Monitor and analyze inventory levels, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as supply chain management or logistics.
  • 8+ years of experience in a warehouse or supply chain management role.
  • Proven leadership and supervisory experience, with a track record of improving efficiency and productivity.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
