Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Materials Supervisor to join our team at Trane Technologies in La Crosse, Wisconsin. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for directing and coordinating the daily activities of warehouse staff to ensure efficient and effective material management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve warehouse operational objectives by contributing to strategic plans and reviews
  • Meet warehouse operations financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing budgets, and analyzing variances
  • Develop and implement warehouse operations systems, including product handling and storage requirements, and create processes for receiving product, equipment utilization, inventory management, and shipping
  • Establish warehouse operations system improvements by analyzing process workflow, manning and space requirements, and equipment layout
  • Maintain physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts, inspecting equipment, and issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; 5+ years of related experience required in lieu of degree
  • Experience in integrated functions of manufacturing, rate-based or flow line (non-MRP) and job shop manufacturing environments
  • Experience in operations, inventory management, visual management systems, Microsoft Office products, inventory control/shipping software, MRP and lean manufacturing processes
  • Data analysis skills and intermediate to advanced Excel knowledge
