About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager to join our US GTB Strategic Support team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the development of our strategic priorities and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of strategic priorities and long-term vision for US GTB, in collaboration with our team.
- Gather information and analyses from various sources and stakeholders to identify opportunities for synergies and drive operational awareness.
- Support cross-functional project teams to implement initiatives aligned with our overall strategy.
- Report regularly on current initiatives and seek improvements to existing strategies, procedures, and policies.
- Lead research on key areas of opportunity for the division, in line with Scotiabank's strategic priorities.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
- Exceptional attention to detail and editing skills.
- Expert user of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- High organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple concurrent activities and requests.
- Strong curiosity and research capabilities to obtain background information and insights for projects.
- Good understanding of GTB's objectives, strategies, and structure.
- Excellent relationship building skills, with the ability to build and manage stakeholder relationships across diverse groups.
- Exceptional communication skills, with knowledge and experience across multiple platforms.
- Expert time management, project management, planning, and organization skills.
- Demonstrated leadership and ability to work autonomously or collaboratively.
- Proven track record in strategy development, including experience leading multi-disciplinary initiatives.
