Our Dementia Care FloorThe 60-bed Medicare/Medicaid/Dementia unit provides care to residents with various diagnoses. Our team creates a fullness of life through relationships, the art of caring, and the spirit of living, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to discuss and implement resident care plans.
About the FacilityBeaumont Commons – Farmington Hills is a 3-floor facility with 9 units, offering care for long-term care residents and post-acute rehab patients. Our first floor has 59 beds focused on sub-acute rehab, the second floor has 59 beds focused on long-term care and sub-acute rehab, and our third floor is a secured dementia unit.

QualificationsTo be eligible for this role, you must have a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, medical technology, or a related field to epidemiology. A Master's Degree or equivalent experience, including a Master of Public Health, is preferred. You must also have 2 years of relevant experience in clinical or infection prevention, with participation in improvement initiatives preferred. A Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Michigan or a Medical Technologist (MT) certification from the American Society for Clinical Pathology is required. Certification in Infection Prevention and Control from the Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology, Inc. is preferred.
