Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to develop and implement clinical operations strategies that align with our organization's mission and values.
  • Lead and mentor a team of nurses to achieve top-of-license practice and provide exceptional patient care.
  • Develop and manage the nursing department budget, ensuring effective resource allocation and fiscal responsibility.
  • Serve as a clinical operational liaison between nursing units and the Director of Nursing, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of clinical operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care and satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current Registered Nurse/RN license by the State Board of Nursing.
  • Minimum 3 years of full-time or equivalent clinical experience, with at least 2 years of experience in nursing supervision in the long-term care setting.
  • Knowledge of the MDS process, state nurse practice acts, and state and federal regulations.
  • On-call availability required.
