JOB SUMMARY
Welcome and assist guests during their stay, ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out process while handling all financial transactions in accordance with hotel policies. Provide comprehensive information to guests and visitors as needed.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Arrive punctually in the designated uniform, prepared for the day's responsibilities.
- Deliver exceptional service and proactively seek ways to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Keep the team informed of any pertinent feedback from guests or other departments.
- Address, resolve, or escalate guest concerns promptly and efficiently; follow up to guarantee guest contentment.
- Collaborate with hotel facilities and services to identify opportunities for promoting events and upselling.
- Inform the team about any special events or notable guests in the hotel.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of hotel offerings and local attractions, as well as the daily event schedule.
- Monitor for safety risks and report them immediately to the Supervisor/Manager.
- Participate in all mandatory departmental and hotel meetings.
- Complete all required training within the designated timeframe.
- Adhere to fire, health, and safety regulations, following established procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned or developed.
- Support environmental initiatives by acquiring the knowledge and skills necessary to lead in the hospitality industry's sustainability efforts.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
- Must adhere to grooming standards.
- At least six (6) months of experience as a Hospitality Service Representative in a hotel/resort or a similar customer-focused role.
- Minimum six (6) months of cash handling experience is required.
- Demonstrates high energy and a commitment to service excellence.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Capable of functioning effectively as part of a team.
- Exhibits strong attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Able to stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
