Job Overview

Portland Gear is seeking a highly skilled Store Manager to lead the overall operations of their retail store. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales, providing exceptional customer service, and upholding the integrity of our brand.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Lead and manage a team of sales associates, including setting goals, providing feedback, and conducting performance evaluations
    • Hire, train, and retain a team of sales associates
  • Inventory Management and Visual Merchandising
    • Oversee inventory management, ordering new products, and ensuring the store is fully stocked at all times
    • Implement visual merchandising strategies to create an engaging shopping experience
  • Customer Service and Sales
    • Provide exceptional customer service and handle customer complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner
    • Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to increase revenue and profitability
  • Store Maintenance and Loss Prevention
    • Maintain a clean and organized store, including conducting regular inventory counts and implementing store layout changes as needed
    • Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize losses
