IT Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Technician to join our team at Selectek. As an IT Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for desktops, portable computers, and peripheral equipment in networked and standalone environments.
Key Responsibilities- Install and configure desktops, portable computers, and peripherals
- Detect, diagnose, and resolve software and hardware failures
- Provide users with technical guidance and instruction on the use of hardware and software
- Analyze and assess customer service requests and provide prompt technical solutions
- Conduct IT audits and prepare progress reports
- Utilize trouble-ticketing software to manage tickets
- Identify and document areas for process improvements
- Communicate effectively with users and provide technical support for remote locations
- Perform software and hardware upgrades and installations
- Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- 1-3 years of experience in data communications or computer systems
- IT certifications applicable to desktop and mobile computer support
