Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Financial Readiness Specialist to join our team at the Wounded Warrior Project. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in providing financial education and support to wounded warriors and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive financial education programs and services to support the financial stability of wounded service members and their families.
  • Manage a caseload of financial readiness cases, maintaining accurate records and providing individualized support to clients.
  • Collaborate with external partners and vendors to provide financial education and guidance to warriors and their families.
  • Conduct ongoing education and support to empower warriors to make informed financial decisions and develop personalized plans for financial resiliency.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to warriors, family members, and internal partners.
Requirements
  • Four years of experience in financial counseling, financial education, or personal financial management services.
  • Two years of experience working with military or veteran's population.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, financial management, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two years of experience with Salesforce.
  • Two years of experience working with an event/planning scheduling system.
  • Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC) or Certified Financial Health Counselor (CFHC) certification.
Work Environment

This is a general office environment with up to 10% travel required.
