We are a dynamic team of professionals at Project Self-Sufficiency, dedicated to providing essential services to low-income families in northwestern New Jersey.

Our Mission:

To empower low-income families along the path to economic self-sufficiency, we provide a range of programs and services, including career guidance and assessment, computer classes, GED instruction, parenting workshops, childcare, legal assistance and education, help with emergency basic needs, health education, support groups, life skills classes, family activities, home visitation, and more.

About the Job:

  • We are seeking a Development Associate to join our team, responsible for developing and implementing fundraising strategies, managing donor relationships, and coordinating special events.
  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience in non-profit development, with a proven track record of success in fundraising and donor engagement.
  • They will be responsible for overseeing donor gift processing and stewardship, creating mailing and emailing lists, and ensuring accuracy and security of all donor and gift data.
