Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join the Rutland Regional Medical Center team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care and be able to provide high-quality services in our comprehensive community cancer center.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide healthcare services to patients, following established standards, procedures, and practices.
- Obtain detailed medical history and perform physical or psychological examinations.
- Perform or order diagnostic procedures, such as X-rays, electrocardiograms, and laboratory tests, and interpret results.
- Administer therapeutic procedures, including injections, immunizations, suturing, and wound care.
- Provide support during surgery or medical procedures and instruct patients on prescribed therapeutic regimens, home care, and health maintenance.
Requirements
- Masters Degree in Nursing or Graduate of an American Medical Association approved Physician Assistant educational program.
- 2 years of Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant experience in a specialty area, such as Oncology or Emergency Medicine.
- Licensed with the Vermont Office of Professional Regulation with advanced certification by a national certifying organization recognized by the Vermont Nursing Board's scope of practice.
