About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Design Operations Intern to join our team in NYC. As a Design Operations Intern, you will be responsible for collaborating with our Marketing Operations Graphics team and Motion Design Team to assess, plan, design, and deliver graphic-based content used across all A/V platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess incoming After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, & Cinema 4D projects from outside vendors to ensure they can be used in-house to create additional graphic elements.
  • Assist with the design and execution of both motion and still video graphics on lower-level campaigns.
  • Work with the key art team and/or archive servers to obtain layered files to extract items needed for video assets and/or title treatments.
  • Work closely with the Campaign Management team to prioritize graphics requests.
  • Maintain and regularly organize the HBO Marketing graphics servers to ensure all projects and renders are accessible to all who need them and then are properly archived.
  • Manage licensed content such as font and stock video/images as it relates to graphics projects.
Requirements
  • Ability to juggle many projects at once, pivot on a moment's notice, and remain organized and professional.
  • Strong technical background as it relates to graphic design tools and workflows.
  • Knowledge of Cinema 4D, Adobe InDesign, and/or Avid Media Composer is a plus.
  • Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university degree program for the full duration of the internship (proof of enrollment required).
  • Must be a rising Junior or Senior (18 years or older).
  • Must be in academic good standing (3.0 or above cumulative GPA).
  • Warner Bros. Discovery will only consider candidates who are presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and who will not require work visa sponsorship from Warner Bros. Discovery now or in the future in order to retain their authorization to work in the United States.
