About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator to join our team at Arlluk Technology Solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Oracle database technologies and experience in managing large-scale database environments within a healthcare context.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing Oracle database systems supporting MHS applications. This includes installing, configuring, and maintaining Oracle database systems for MHS applications, designing and implementing database architectures that meet the complex requirements of healthcare systems, performing database tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance, developing and implementing backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and business continuity, managing database security, including user access controls, encryption, and auditing, collaborating with application developers to optimize database designs and SQL queries, planning and executing database upgrades, patches, and migrations with minimal downtime, monitoring database systems for performance issues and conducting capacity planning, implementing and maintaining Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) and other high-availability solutions, developing and maintaining documentation for database processes, procedures, and configurations, providing expert-level support for critical database issues and participating in on-call rotations, and staying current with Oracle technologies and best practices, recommending improvements as appropriate.

Requirements
The successful candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with 5-7 years of experience in Oracle database administration, or a Master's degree in a relevant field with 3-5 years of experience in Oracle database administration, or a PhD in a relevant field with 0-2 years of experience in Oracle database administration. They must also possess extensive experience with Oracle Database administration (version 11g and above), strong knowledge of Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and other high-availability solutions, proficiency in performance tuning, query optimization, and database troubleshooting, familiarity with Oracle backup and recovery strategies, including RMAN, knowledge of Oracle security features and best practices, experience with database capacity planning and resource management, familiarity with Oracle Enterprise Manager and other monitoring tools, strong problem-solving and analytical skills, excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Compensation and Benefits
The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
