Highly Skilled Database Developer Wanted for Top Secret/SCI Clearance

QTalent Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Database Developer to join our team. This full-time position is based in Chantilly, VA, offering a unique blend of career excellence and quality living.
Job DescriptionWe are looking for a talented individual to provide operations and maintenance (O&M) and database development for legacy databases for organization systems, including the enterprise API Gateway, EDW, and new modern databases consistent with the organization's business data strategy.
- The ideal candidate will ensure that all development and modifications to existing Organization applications and databases comply with Organization's security and architectural policies and regulations.
As a Database Developer, you will be responsible for:
- Providing O&M and database development for legacy databases for organization systems;
- SUPPORTING deployment packaging, system maintenance and troubleshooting to maintain sustainability and reliability of the Organization's systems and applications;
- Ensuring that all development and modifications to existing Organization applications and databases comply with Organization's security and architectural policies and regulations.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Top Secret/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph;
- Subject Matter Expert-level skills in Oracle and PostgreSQL databases;
- Experience with Tableau and COGNOS for reporting presentation;
- Ability to develop and interface with Application Program Interfaces (APIs);
- Proficiency in performing testing and quality assurance of developed solutions within the existing Oracle data tier;
- Ability to develop, create, and modify data structure and data load routines for analytic use cases;
- Knowledge of relational data tiers, including cleansing, transforming, and processing of structured data;
- Experience with developing and supporting applications using Java, JavaScript, and Python;
- Familiarity with working with views, triggers, and Oracle PL and SQL;
- Knowledge of Amazon Web Services environments, including RDS, S3, etc.;
- Ability to work within an Agile project management model.
