Job Description

Job Title: Lean Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Lean Specialist to join our team at NESC Staffing. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying areas for continuous improvement and leading cross-functional teams in the execution and reporting of quality improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead value stream mapping exercises to determine and record business improvement
  • Track and execute cost reduction for process improvements
  • Develop and sustain employees' training and development on lean concepts
  • Lead quality-related activities and ensure QMS compliance
  • Execute LEAN manufacturing techniques and design
  • Root cause analysis and 8D problem-solving experience

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or industrial engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum of 4+ years with proven experience utilizing Six Sigma/or Lean Manufacturing initiatives in a production environment
  • Work experience with implementation of adaptable robotics/automation preferred
  • At least 4+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment
  • At least 4+ years' experience in a Lean Leadership position
  • Lean six sigma green belt certification
