Lean/CI Transformation Specialist

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the implementation of Lean methodologies to enhance efficiency and reduce waste across the organization. This role involves fostering a culture of operational excellence and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement sustainable improvements in manufacturing and business processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities to optimize processes and reduce waste.
- Lead cross-functional teams in quality improvement projects, focusing on process enhancements, scrap reduction, and supplier quality.
- Implement LEAN manufacturing techniques and design solutions to improve operational efficiency.
- Utilize 8D problem solving for root cause analysis and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Facilitate value stream mapping to identify and document business improvements and track cost reduction initiatives.
- Oversee lean process implementation, automation, and quality improvements to ensure compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Develop and sustain employee training programs focused on lean concepts to drive cultural change.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Possess a Green Belt certification in Lean Six Sigma.
- Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a role focused on Lean methodologies, specifically outside of quality assurance.
- Demonstrated experience in fostering a culture of quality awareness that extends beyond the quality inspection team.
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Preferred experience with the implementation of adaptable robotics and automation systems.
- Exhibit strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Bring at least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
