Job Description

The Sales Associate at Sweathouz American Fork plays a vital role in delivering an exceptional sales and service experience to our guests and members. This involves offering studio memberships and retail products and services in a compelling and well-rounded approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build relationships with guests and members to translate the mission of Sweathouz through its product and service offerings.
  • Focus on behaviors that drive member acquisition and retention.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Execute the relationship-based sales model with each guest and passionately relate how Sweathouz services will satisfy their needs and goals.
  • Tour potential members through the studio and describe the facilities, services, and amenities that directly tie back to the guest's individual needs and goals.
  • Communicate membership options in a clear and concise manner.
  • Effectively and professionally enroll guests using company sales techniques and protocol.
  • Onboard new members successfully and assist with all member retention activities to drive club profitability.

Prospecting and Lead Generation:

  • Responsible for effectively setting appointments for all leads and potential new business.
  • Communicate and promote marketing campaigns to leads and members.
  • Manage and follow up on leads/new business using company software.
  • Execute daily plan for successful lead management and selling activities.

Member Experience:

  • Partner with Studio Manager to provide a best-in-class, member-centric experience that strengthens member relationships and builds member retention.
  • Ensure members receive a friendly greeting/check-in and prompt attention to their needs.
  • Maintain name relationships with members and serve as a resource for their questions or concerns.
  • Provide a clean, friendly, well-maintained studio to members and guests.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator Certification (AED) received through in-person training required.
  • Specialized credentials preferred or equivalent work experience or education in specialized function.

Minimum Work Experience and Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in a sales environment.
  • Experience with relationship-based selling, building value, and overcoming objections.

Physical Demands / Environmental Conditions:

  • Must be able to lift 50lbs. Physical efforts required for daily duties including squatting, bending, reaching, spotting, jumping, and prolonged standing and walking.
