We seek an individual with substantial HR experience who is prepared to independently manage the HR operations. As part of our rapidly expanding start-up, your daily tasks will vary significantly. From talent acquisition to compliance, benefits administration to training, you will take on multiple roles. You will play a crucial role in our compact yet effective headquarters team, with the flexibility to work from home 3-4 days a week and in the office 1-2 days a week.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding - Create job postings, conduct preliminary phone interviews, assist hiring managers in securing top candidates, and ensure that all pre-employment requirements are fulfilled promptly. Continuously enhance the recruitment process by exploring innovative ways to attract and onboard talent efficiently.

Employee Development - Collaborate with the VP of Operations to design a thorough training program that empowers our team members to reach their full potential. Monitor, track, and document compliance with both mandatory and optional training initiatives.

HR Administrative Functions - Guarantee meticulous documentation and legal compliance concerning compensation, benefits, leave, disciplinary actions, disputes, investigations, performance management, recognition, occupational health and safety, and training/development.

HR Knowledge & Expertise - Stay informed about trends, best practices, regulatory updates, and new technologies in Human Resources, talent management, employment law, and other vital areas.

Employee Support - Provide exceptional service to our employees. You will be the primary contact for team members with inquiries or concerns.

Benefits Management & Strategy - As we expand our benefits offerings, ensure compliance with state and federal regulations while introducing innovative ideas that will engage our team members.

Essential Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Robust analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to maintain integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
  • Proficient in or able to quickly learn iSolved (our HRIS system)
  • Skilled in MS Office Suite and Google Apps

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • A minimum of five years of HR experience
  • SHRM certification is a plus
