Position: Healthcare Operations Supervisor

Compensation: $20.00-$23.00/hour

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday with occasional weekends | 8:00am - 8:00pm EST

****Flexibility to work any shift within these hours is required.

Remote Work: Available after initial training, candidates should be located near the designated area.

Project Duration: Temporary position from September to February.

Role Summary:

The Operations Supervisor will provide essential support and mentorship to remote team members engaged in Benefit Verification processes. This role collaborates with the Supervisor and Area Director/Manager to meet productivity targets, uphold customer service excellence, and ensure quality control across all initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist team members in executing Benefit Investigations.
  • Provide coaching and resolve challenges faced by team members.
  • Evaluate performance of seasonal staff to ensure compliance with client service expectations.
  • Guarantee that daily output meets established quality benchmarks.
  • Support training efforts for Reimbursement Specialists.
  • Escalate issues to the Supervisor when necessary.
  • Create and maintain training documentation for programs.
  • Foster open communication with team members.
  • Identify and address challenges within the program.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a specialty pharmacy, medical insurance, reimbursement hub, or a similar healthcare environment.
  • At least 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience.
  • Experience in benefit investigations within a dynamic setting is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with managing a remote workforce is preferred.

Onboarding Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screening.
  • Two verifiable employment references.
