Emergency Medical Technician

Hudson Regional Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our team. As an EMT, you will be responsible for providing emergency medical care to patients in a variety of settings, including emergency medical services (EMS) calls and hospital settings.
Key Responsibilities- Render emergency medical care to patients based on signs, symptoms, or complaints.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and other healthcare professionals.
- Assist in transporting patients using medical equipment.
- Operate an ambulance safely and efficiently.
- Document patient care and medical information accurately.
- Inspect and maintain ambulance equipment and vehicles.
- Participate in cleaning and restocking of ambulance equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by EMS management.
- One year of EMT experience.
- NJ EMT/EMT-P certification.
- American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider certification.
- HazMat training at the awareness level or higher.
- NIMS 700 ICS-100 CEVO II/III certification within 3 months of employment.
- Current driver's license.
