Overview

The Advanced Cultivation Specialist is tasked with a range of agricultural responsibilities, focusing on the nurturing and maintenance of plants in the Vegetative growth stage, alongside the management of the associated growing environments.

This role requires exemplary communication skills and a thorough understanding of all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), while fostering a positive atmosphere and maintaining consistent attendance during employment.

The Advanced Cultivation Specialist is expected to uphold the highest standards of compliance and professionalism.


Key Responsibilities
  • Executing procedures related to productivity and quality.
  • Cloning and propagating plants as needed.
  • Transporting plants within the facility according to directives.
  • Performing meticulous grooming of clones, young plants, and mother plants.
  • Organizing and securing all METRC tags.
  • Maintaining accurate and clear documentation of various records and labels.
  • Preparing and setting up tables for transplanting.
  • Possessing a comprehensive understanding of workflow across the facility.
  • Cleaning and maintaining all work areas, tools, and materials throughout the facility.

Work Environment

Adhere to all safety protocols, including lifting, bending, and navigating ladders during shifts.

Regularly clean and maintain work surfaces, tools, and equipment to ensure optimal garden conditions.

Promote a positive work environment through a constructive attitude.

Ensure doors remain closed when not in use and wear protective gear when handling plants.

Before leaving the facility, remove protective clothing and check for any cannabis residue on personal attire.


Compliance and Reporting

Ensure adherence to all local, state, and federal regulations under the guidance of management.

Document workflows and procedures, implementing appropriate controls and audits to maintain data integrity.

Additional Responsibilities

Perform other tasks as assigned, which may include assisting other departments with harvesting, trimming, packaging, cleaning, and light maintenance as necessary.


Supervision

This position operates under the general supervision of the Production Manager and the direct oversight of the Growth Phase I Supervisors.


Qualifications
Work Experience
  • Proven ability to follow directions and lead others.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Must obtain appropriate work credentials from the Colorado Department of Revenue, MED.
Education

A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Working Conditions
  • Ability to use a computer and/or hand tools while sitting or standing for extended periods.

  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds frequently throughout the workday.
  • Willingness to occasionally work beyond 40 hours per week.
  • Occasional travel may be required within the region.
