Position: Cultivation Specialist
The Cultivation Specialist is integral to the agricultural operations within our facility. This role involves nurturing plants during their growth phases, overseeing cultivation environments, and adhering to all established operational protocols with precision. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and a constructive mindset. Upholding compliance with regulations and maintaining professionalism are essential components of this position.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Cloning plants
- Moving plants throughout the facility
- Trimming and grooming plants
- Managing and organizing METRC tags
- Accurate documentation of labels and records
- Preparing planting areas for transplanting
- Ensuring cleanliness and organization in all facility zones
Working Environment:
- Mobility within a manufacturing space
- Utilizing equipment such as ladders and lifts
- Engaging in tasks within a warm and humid atmosphere
- Lifting items weighing up to 30 pounds
- Contorting and maneuvering in confined spaces
- Potential for overtime and occasional travel
Compliance and Documentation:
- Adherence to all applicable local, state, and federal regulations
- Accurate documentation of operational procedures
Supervision:
- Direct oversight by Supervisors and Production Management
- Possible involvement in training new team members
Work Expectations:
- Fostering a positive team environment
- Effective communication with supervisors and colleagues
- Punctuality and adherence to established standards
- Efficiency and quality in all tasks
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Maintaining a professional demeanor
Additional Responsibilities:
- Providing assistance in various departmental tasks as required
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
