EVP, Head of Strategic Growth

The EVP, Head of Strategic Growth will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic direction and growth of A+E Networks. This role will be responsible for leading the Corporate Development function, which includes board management, mergers and acquisitions, investments, and identifying organic growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Board Management: Develop materials and financial projections to communicate business performance and plans to external stakeholders.
- Mergers and Acquisitions: Lead mergers and acquisitions from end-to-end, from strategy to execution and integration, based on the company's business strategy and product vision.
- Strategic Projects: Work cross-functionally with the executive team to help shape corporate strategy and lead special projects.
- Driving Growth: Lead organic growth initiatives through new business launches and identify opportunities to consult and provide resources to other divisions.
- People and Thought Leadership: Manage and lead a small but mighty Corporate Development team, providing leadership to the company by embodying its values and principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- At least 10 years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or consulting.
- At least 10 years of transactional experience.
- At least 5 years of experience with linear television.
- At least 5 years of people management experience.
- Able to travel to Stamford, CT or NYC as needed.
