Training Requirement: This role requires attendance at a comprehensive training program for the initial weeks of employment.

Role Summary

The primary objective of this position is to enhance the financial well-being of our members by embodying the core values and mission of the organization. As a member-facing role, it is essential to deliver an exceptional service experience. This position involves engaging in consultative discussions and providing sound financial guidance to foster new and existing member relationships. Responsibilities include supporting teller operations, managing new accounts, and processing consumer loan applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teller Operations (30%): Efficiently process transactions while maintaining a friendly demeanor. Identify emerging needs through attentive listening and provide appropriate product and service solutions. Ensure compliance with security protocols and be vigilant against financial fraud.
  • Account Management (30%): Open, maintain, and close various membership accounts, including savings and retirement accounts. Provide timely follow-up and assist members with services such as online banking and account maintenance.
  • Sales and Service (20%): Exhibit behaviors that align with the organization's mission and service standards. Meet sales objectives by addressing member requests and recommending suitable products. Process consumer loan applications and participate in outreach campaigns as needed.
  • Digital Support (15%): Assist members through digital communication channels, ensuring professionalism and responsiveness. Encourage the adoption of digital services among members.
  • Additional Duties (5%): Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. required.

Experience: 0-1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a financial setting. Flexibility to work shifts during operational hours is necessary. Bilingual candidates are preferred.
