Training Requirements:
This role requires full-time training in Glendale for the initial five weeks of employment.
Role Summary:
The primary objective of this position is to enhance member satisfaction by embodying the organization's mission and core values. As a frontline representative, you will deliver an exceptional member service experience, engaging in consultative discussions and providing sound financial guidance to foster new and existing relationships. This versatile role encompasses teller operations, account management, and consumer loan processing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teller Operations (30%): Accurately and efficiently handle transactions while maintaining a friendly demeanor. Identify member needs through attentive listening and provide appropriate product and service solutions. Ensure security protocols are followed and maintain cash drawer accuracy.
- Account Management (30%): Open, maintain, and close various membership accounts, including savings, checking, and retirement accounts. Provide timely follow-up and assist members with services such as online banking and direct deposits.
- Sales and Service (20%): Exhibit behaviors that align with the organization's mission and values. Meet or exceed sales targets by addressing member inquiries, identifying needs, and making informed recommendations. Process consumer loan applications and promote ancillary products.
- Digital Support (15%): Assist members through digital communication channels, ensuring professional and responsive interactions. Encourage the adoption of digital services to enhance member experience.
- Additional Duties (5%): Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Experience:
0-1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a financial setting. Flexibility to work shifts from Monday to Saturday between 8 AM and 6 PM. Bilingual candidates are preferred.
Skills and Competencies:
- Commitment to the mission, vision, and core values of the credit union.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Critical thinking abilities and problem-solving skills.
- Effective time management and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and collaborative tools.
