Job Summary

The Veterinary Receptionist will serve as the primary point of contact for clients and patients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for all visitors to the hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Communication: Greet clients and pets by name, answer phone calls promptly and professionally, and respond to client inquiries about animal care and veterinary services.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule appointments and surgeries, make confirmation calls, and ensure accurate documentation of client conversations.
  • Financial Transactions: Collect payment, process credit card transactions, and verify client eligibility for charge accounts.
  • Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate medical and computer records, scan documents, and refill prescriptions.
  • Product and Service Advice: Provide knowledgeable advice on wellness, prevention, and diseases, and recommend retail items such as flea/tick preventatives and heartworm preventatives.
