About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Application Support Analyst to join our team at St. Charles Community College. As a key member of our IT department, you will work closely with leadership and business experts to identify and implement solutions that support our students, staff, and faculty.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a liaison between functional departments and technology teams, translating technical offerings into functional-level solutions.
  • Manage system issues impacted by and impacting operational units, and non-academic support units.
  • Document system functionality, including procedure and process changes.
  • Manage multiple initiatives/projects across functional areas/departments, keeping stakeholders informed of results.
  • Provide functional training for the College's systems and ensure proper use and reporting needs are met.
  • Work with internal technical staff and/or vendors to resolve issues, researching and investigating technology changes and other events impacting administrative systems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field, supplemented by two years of related work experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in managing multiple tasks simultaneously and exhibiting leadership skills to drive results.
  • Ability to analyze complicated problems and provide resolutions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft productivity software (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge and experience with higher education information systems (e.g., Anthology Student).
