Director of Product Strategy

IBT Media, a leading digital media organization, is seeking a Director of Product Strategy to become an integral part of the executive team, contributing to the expansion and innovation of its diverse array of digital media brands.

Position Overview:

The Director of Product Strategy will spearhead the evolution and optimization of the company's digital offerings and platforms. This role involves close collaboration with various teams, including development, design, marketing, SEO, audience engagement, and content creation, to craft outstanding user experiences that enhance audience reach and drive revenue growth.

Your strategic vision, coupled with robust leadership and analytical capabilities, will be crucial in shaping product roadmaps, defining feature specifications, and prioritizing key initiatives. This position presents a remarkable opportunity to influence the success and development of notable consumer media brands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Minimum of 3 years in roles such as Product Manager, Product Lead, Director of Product Management, or similar positions within a digital media or news organization.
  • Proven track record of developing successful products that fulfill business objectives and engage audiences effectively.
  • Preferred background in engineering.
  • Experience in editorial product development and newsroom operations is advantageous.
  • Strong desire to enhance the utility and engagement of information.
  • Solid understanding of Content Management Systems (CMS), User Experience (UX), and Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
  • Experience collaborating directly with developers to achieve product goals, utilizing project management tools like Asana or similar.
  • Proficient in leveraging data analytics (e.g., Google Analytics) to guide product strategy.
  • Ability to devise scalable solutions that cater to the needs of a vast user base.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated individual capable of leading projects while collaborating with teams and working independently.
