Position Overview:
As a vital member of our healthcare team, the Front Desk Registration role is essential in ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for all patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Professionally greets and registers all incoming patients, ensuring effective communication both in person and over the phone.
  • Handles telephone inquiries promptly and courteously, utilizing excellent telephone etiquette to take comprehensive messages and direct calls appropriately.
  • Schedules appointments for all healthcare providers, confirming each appointment one day in advance.
  • Accurately collects and verifies demographic and insurance information from patients.
  • Manages patient accounts and co-payments, maintaining precise records of daily transactions and ensuring sufficient change for payments.
  • Addresses patient inquiries regarding basic insurance or billing matters, or refers them to the appropriate personnel when necessary.
  • Maintains a clean and organized work station and ensures all equipment is restocked and ready for use.
  • Assists in locating records, reports, or other essential information as requested by healthcare providers.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned to support the overall operations of the office.

Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or GED required.

Experience: A minimum of six months of experience in a medical office environment is preferred. Familiarity with medical terminology, word processing, and computer skills is advantageous. Candidates who demonstrate professionalism in both personal interactions and telephone communications are highly valued.
