Program Services Coordinator

The individual in this role is tasked with delivering essential programmatic assistance to leadership within departments that cater to residential services for individuals with developmental disabilities, mental health challenges, and/or autism spectrum conditions. The position of Program Support Coordinator is classified as non-exempt and is compensated on an hourly basis.
Supervision is provided by a Director or other qualified personnel; however, the individual is expected to demonstrate independent judgment and initiative while adhering to established policies and procedures.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe following responsibilities are representative of the various tasks performed, but are not exhaustive. The absence of a specific duty does not exempt it from being a required function as determined by the supervising authority:
- Conducts ISL variance assessments.
- Performs home inspections and site evaluations to verify the quality of services rendered.
- Executes quality assurance evaluations as instructed.
- Reviews client and pertinent documentation to ensure adherence to best practices.
- Under the guidance of the Director, addresses complaints from individuals served, their families, or guardians, taking appropriate actions or referring issues to the designated official for resolution.
- Disseminates and enforces directives from the Director or other professionals, while maintaining necessary records and reports.
- Oversees group home and/or ISL financials, including food budgets and client personal expenditures, ensuring compliance with agency policies as assigned by the supervisor.
- Performs additional related tasks as required.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion.
- Capacity to engage respectfully with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism spectrum conditions, and psychiatric disorders.
- Flexibility to work varied hours and adapt to changes in assignments and policies.
- Familiarity with fundamental techniques in the care and habilitative programming for individuals with mental health issues, autism spectrum conditions, and/or developmental disabilities.
- Understanding of basic behavior support strategies.
- Ability to comprehend and follow both verbal and written instructions.
- Capability to provide direct client assistance as necessary, including physical tasks such as standing, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and be insured, with the ability to obtain a Missouri Class E driver license.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A minimum of one year of experience in the human services sector is preferred, particularly in providing treatment and support to individuals with mental health issues, autism spectrum conditions, and/or developmental disabilities. Proven skills in motivating and leading others are essential.
