About the Role

The Robotics Coordinator is a critical member of the surgical services team at Lee's Summit Medical Center. This role is responsible for coordinating the robotics service line, ensuring the efficient delivery of surgical care through the use of robotics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate service needs and develop strategies to improve quality, safety, and efficiency of care for the robotic surgery program.
  • Coordinate the preparation and use of robotics for surgical procedures, including planning for supplies, equipment, and instrumentation.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless execution of robotic surgeries.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of robotics-related supplies and equipment.
  • Monitor and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize robotic surgery outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Current Missouri RN license or multistate RN license with the ability to obtain a Missouri RN license within 90 days.
  • Previous experience in the operating room and one year of DaVinci experience required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire, with Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required within six months.
