As a key member of our aquatic team, you will be responsible for providing lifeguarding, water exercise class instruction, and adapted swim lesson instruction. You will also be responsible for maintaining the aquatic center environment, coordinating aquatic volunteers, and assisting with community outreach programs.

Responsibilities
  • Provide lifeguarding services and ensure the safety of patrons
  • Teach water exercise classes and adapted swim lessons
  • Maintain the aquatic center environment, including equipment and supplies
  • Coordinate aquatic volunteers and assist with community outreach programs
  • Collaborate with Recreation Therapists to provide basic recreation therapy activity services to patients
Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who possess a strong background in lifeguarding, water safety, and recreation therapy. A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required, and a current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is necessary. Experience leading fitness classes and possessing a current CA driver's license are preferred.
