Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Environmental Services Technician to join our team at UVM Health Network - Central Vermont Medical Center. As an Environmental Services Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of specialized cleaning and general housekeeping duties, including but not limited to:
- Emptying trash and recyclables
- Disinfecting and sanitizing surfaces and equipment
- Restocking supplies and materials
- Assisting with event setup and teardown
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No experience needed as this is an entry-level position
- Ability to read and write and communicate routine information
- Good customer service and interpersonal skills
Working Conditions:
- Variable shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends
- May be required to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
Salary and Benefits:
- Competitive salary range: $18.04 - $27.06 per hour
- Benefits package available for eligible employees
