Environmental Systems Specialist

We are seeking an Environmental Engineer to join our team at the Agency of Natural Resources, Public Drinking Water Program. As an Environmental Engineer, you will play a crucial role in securing safe drinking water for the people of Vermont.
You will work closely with a team of engineers and scientists to review and optimize drinking water design plans through research, analysis, and site visits. Your attention to detail and technical expertise will be essential in ensuring the quality and safety of our drinking water systems.

Key Responsibilities- Review and optimize drinking water design plans
- Conduct research and analysis to ensure the quality and safety of drinking water systems
- Collaborate with a team of engineers and scientists to achieve program goals
- Provide technical and regulatory assistance to Vermont's public drinking water systems and their consultants
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Master's degree in environmental, sanitary, water resources, chemical, civil, or air pollution engineering
- Two years or more of professional experience in environmental, sanitary, water resources, chemical, civil, or air pollution engineering
- Strong technical expertise and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
