Job Title: Environmental Project Manager

Stone Environmental, Inc. is seeking an experienced environmental scientist or engineer to join our team as an Environmental Project Manager. The successful candidate will provide technical support and project management for various projects, including soil and groundwater investigations, brownfield redevelopment, and environmental due diligence.

The position involves travel for field work throughout Vermont, with occasional travel for projects outside the state. The Environmental Project Manager will report to the Director of Environmental Assessment and Remediation Services in Montpelier.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and implement fieldwork, data collection, and analysis for various projects
  • Develop site-specific conceptual models using innovative practices
  • Prepare technical reports, proposals, and research and development documents
  • Lead project teams in the performance of work plans on-site assessment and remediation projects
  • Manage multiple projects according to their agreed-upon schedule, scope, and budget
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in geology, hydrogeology, or related field
  • 6-10 years of relevant experience in environmental investigation and remediation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
