Job Title: Brokerage Services Specialist

Under the guidance of senior management, the Brokerage Services Specialist will perform a wide range of specialized tasks to support the customized business requirements of the Sales team. This role involves the interpretation and execution of Newmark Sales and Marketing department operational policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the development of marketing strategies for properties and business expansion.
  • Design and implement electronic and direct marketing campaigns for the sale or lease of properties, including customized property information materials, market analyses, and targeted mailing lists.
  • Assess team and client needs to determine the most effective methodology, format, and medium for creating marketing and presentation materials.
  • Support Sales team members in implementing business marketing strategies for clients after the sale.
  • Manage and update marketing infrastructure, including databases, intranets, and external websites, with data on all prospects.
  • Determine data requirements and provide direction to a centralized function within the Sales team environment and/or Research, Financial Analysis, Marketing, etc.
  • Conceptualize and develop the design of flyers, property brochures, proposals, or offering memoranda to facilitate sales.
  • Develop and maintain business intelligence for assigned sales teams.
  • Source investment properties and brokerage investors by researching local and national databases, tracking investor responses, and reporting on communications.
  • Audit and manage the update and maintenance of office transactions, including listings and sales.
  • Analyze competitive and industry information and provide data and recommendations to the team.
  • Provide client services that enhance and expand business.
  • Participate in client meetings and conduct property tours for clients, discussing property specifications.
  • Regularly interface with clients, resolving complex issues, providing technical, marketing, or other information as requested.
  • Respond to pricing and/or non-routine inquiries and develop proposals in collaboration with team members.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Current real estate sales license for the state where work is performed.
  • 5+ years of experience in progressively responsible professional-level marketing, sales, or communication jobs.
  • 3+ years of experience in the Real Estate industry; Newmark experience preferred.
  • Demonstrates creativity and professionalism in presenting marketing and sales data for a diversified audience.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite and website software skills.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, customer service, and public relations skills.
  • Highly developed presentation skills, with the ability to present materials and complex information effectively in one-on-one and group situations.
  • Demonstrates problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, meeting stringent deadlines.
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to speak clearly and persuasively, as well as listen and respond well to inquiries.
  • Able to work cohesively in a team environment.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and integrity of data being reviewed by internal and external clients.
  • Focus on problem-solving, mathematical analysis, and project management.
  • Knowledge of accounting and business law is helpful.
  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office software and Project Management software.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $50,000 to $60,000 annually. The actual base salary will be determined on an individualized basis, taking into account a wide range of factors, including relevant skills, experience, education, and, where applicable, licenses or certifications held. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, this position may be eligible for additional types of compensation, including discretionary bonuses and other short- and long-term incentives.
