Position Title: Benefits Analyst

Department: Benefits

Reports to: Benefits Manager

Position Summary: The Benefits Analyst plays a crucial role in the daily management of employee benefits within the organization. This position involves a variety of administrative responsibilities to support the Benefits Manager while ensuring positive interactions with staff and maintaining confidentiality regarding personnel matters. A background in HR and benefits administration is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the processing and reconciliation of monthly benefit invoices with vendors and the accounting department.
  • Manage the budget related to benefits and wellness initiatives.
  • Handle check requests and reimbursements for departmental expenditures.
  • Facilitate the transfer of information to external vendors, auditors, and consultants.
  • Assist with the filing of Workers' Compensation, Long Term Disability, and Life insurance claims as necessary.
  • Administer the enrollment, termination, and status changes of employee benefits within HR systems.
  • Provide support to employees regarding inquiries and issues related to benefits.
  • Contribute to the creation of communication materials for new hires, benefit modifications, open enrollment, and COBRA, which may include documents, webinars, and presentations.
  • Maintain the benefits portal and the firm calendar for all wellness events and updates.
  • Organize monthly wellness lunch and learn sessions.
  • Perform various administrative tasks, including managing mail, scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, and handling filing, copying, and scanning duties.
  • Complete other assigned responsibilities as needed.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Adobe PDF, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Working Environment: This position is based in a standard office setting with minimal exposure to excessive noise or extreme temperatures.
