Job Title: Housing Support Coordinator

Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of St Paul and Minneapolis is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to fill the role of Housing Support Coordinator at our Endeavors Residence.

Job Summary:

The Housing Support Coordinator will serve as a liaison and provide exceptional customer service while assisting residents, outside agency providers, and vendors. This role requires a self-motivated leader who is detail-oriented, trauma-informed, and culturally aware.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide a clean, safe, and secure environment for residents, visitors, volunteers, and coworkers.
  2. Lead orientation and training of employees for the program's Housing Support Representatives.
  3. Partner with Program Management to ensure enforcement of program rules and policies.
  4. Assist with shift coverage gaps across shifts and sites within the housing division.
  5. Utilize conflict resolution and de-escalation skills to defuse crisis situations.
  6. Facilitate involvement with other community programs to promote Catholic Charities' services.
  7. Assist with program development, management, and evaluation.
  8. Provide professional front desk services, including managing incoming calls and resolving resident inquiries.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of one year of experience working with low-income populations, including those experiencing homelessness, unstable housing, and/or mental illness.
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Ability to work with culturally diverse populations and develop de-escalation techniques in a shelter milieu.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
Working Conditions:

This is a regular, full-time, hourly, non-exempt position that requires CPR certification and a valid driver's license.
